In doua luni pe data de 13. Mai incepe marele turneu de poker WSOP (World Series Of Poker) si deja au deschis inregistrarile la turneul de poker. In 2009 campionatul mondial de poker WSOP va avea loc in Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino din Las Vegas.

Inregistrarea este foarte simpla. Trebuie sa descarci formularul de inregistrare de pe siteul oficial WSOP, sa-l completezi si sa trimiti inapoi prin email sau fax. Locurile sunt limitate deci este important ca daca cineva vrea sa intre in turneul de poker WSOP sa seinregistreze in timp. Organizatorii turneului de poker au declarat ca saliile de poker online care accepta jucatori din USA nu au voie sa nomnalizeze jucatorii sai in turenul WSOP.
